- Cap; Bhanvani: Topi or vatko--prayer cap; child's prayer cap; purple silk brocaded in yellow and white in small checkerboard patterns; 2 insets of brocade in similar colours with a fish motif at crown; white cotton lining; H. 7 cm., diameter 13.5 cm. Made by tailors. Worn while praying or visiting the fire temple, or for any religious/ceremonial occasion by Parsi children and men. This specimen belonged to Sir Dorab Tata (1859-1932) and was worn by him as a child.
