Black karchesion. Description from Matteucig (1951): Kantharos; height: 8 cm; height to top of handles: 10.2 cm; diameter: 11.4 cm (see Matteucig's plate VII, 5). Brown impasto. Clay pale red; polished dark brown surface. High neck, slightly concave, joined to shoulder at a sharp angle; straight sides contracting to narrow flat base. Flat vertical handles. On shoulder, halfway between handles, two small knobs; shoulder decorated with short vertical grooves. Up slightly chipped; cracks on neck. Cf. Mon.
