Box, lacquer, small of carved gingko wood; with larger cedar box container (c and d). Exterior surface of lacquer box is carved in relief design of 'wavy' mum flower covered by orange-red lacquer, very glossy. Interior of top and bottom is a glossy, smooth black lacquer. Contains dried leaves of a Japanese maple and unidentified leaf. Containing box is square and plain with fitting lid (d).
