Helmet, pith; exterior covering and hatband of light brown fabric, interior covering of green felt. leather trim around brim, leather sweatband and chinstrap. Ventilator at top of crown, two holes at each side of crown. Label inside crown reads “Waterproof Tropical Helmet.” Brim circumference: 104 cm. Crown circumference: 67 cm. Used by S.A. Barrett as field helmet.
