- Description:
- Dagger. Short, broad leaf-shaped blade divided by 2 finely worked lines on either side of raised mid-rib. Hilt, cast on a clay(?) core, is decorated with raised geometric designs connecting X’s, concentric bands and circle-dot motifs. Guard is slightly curved. A hole on each side for rivet. Blade honed, now nicked. Green encrusted patina, one area of brown shiny patina. L. 21.75 cm; L.of Blade 13.8 cm; L. of Hilt 9.3 cm.
