Canteen made of vine gourd with constricted middle; small hole burned into top; two-ply henequen cord tied around middle; Calabazo in Spanish, Chan chu in Maya. Height 16cm. Vine gourd; burned, Lagenaria siceraria gourd. Cracked on side when collected. Child's toy imitating large canteen carried by adults (3-23131). See field notes in accession envelope.
