Big krater, basket handles. Description from Matteucig (1951): Stamnoid Krater; height: 39.5 cm; diameter: 41.5 cm (see Matteucig's plate X, 9). Brown impasto. Clay reddish gray with many impurities; dull brown, brown-red surface with shiny black particles. Low neck, ridged inside, with flaring lip; rounded body on narrow flat base; horizontal, basket-like double handles; between handles aram's head. Two horizontal cords below neck; three more cords in the shape of a horseshoe, around each plastic head, and one below; above handles a corded zigzag pattern. One handle partly broken off; about one-fourth of vase is restored in red clay. Another similar example from Poggio Buco in the Museo Archeologico, Florence.
