Tile, porcelain: black overglaze calligraphic decoration on white ground. Large flat, rectangular; underside unglazed, very smooth. Text of 800 character written in 25 tight rows, is titled on upper right side: "History of T'eng Wang Ko Hall" by Wang Po. At lower left corner, is dated as "3rd year of the republic" (1914), in Kiangsi. Small red seal at end. Traces of wax on back. Length: 38.2 cm, width: 25.2 cm.
