A black-and-white photographic print of five African men and a dead zebra. Marked across the face of the image: "Denver African Expedition. A - 53." There is a paper label pasted to the back, and it reads: "16 - Hlkum Bushman at the kill. Zebra meat is a favorite meat of both the lion and the Bushman. The lion follow the zebra in their seasonal trek, and the Bushmen follow the lion." Written in green: "Etosha Pan." In the Field journal the image is described as: BA 53 Bushmen at zebra kill.
