Collected by Fifi White, acquired by Penelope May Cooper in the 1980s, donated to the museum in 1986. Multicolored designs oil tapestry weave alternating with checkered patterns (Schevill:41); twisted brown wool yarns create fringes, overall appearance rectangular shaped; red and dk. blue yarn in other similar textiles from Eisen collection dyed with cochineal and indigo; yarns in this example have not been tested.
