Description:
TEODORA BLANCO CERAMIC FIGURE: Figure of a skeleton woman wearing a long dress decorated at back front witih applied flowers. She wears drop earrings, a bead necklace, and has modeled & incised features. Long braids area attached to the back of her skull, which rest on her shoulders and chest, and end with applied flowers. A sash crosses her chest and back of her waist then drapes down her back on the proper left side of her back. Eyes punched out in the clay - hollow eyes. She holds a basket in her proper left hand, and three conjoined jars decorated with flowers are at her feet. “T.B.” is incised on inside of her skirt. H=18.2cm; W=12.0cm; L=12.6cm. JP-751
