Bowl, white brass, with engraved decoration: round body, straight side above rounded bottom, wide rim flange with scalloped lip forming 8 slides with notched corners. outside undecorated, interior: round "shou" meddalion on center bottom, surrounded by five bats and scalloped border pattern. Rows of many small circular floral medallions on side. Panels on 4 sides of flange contain garden scenes with 2 of the 8 immortals within each four characters on other sides. Poss. reading: "Princess of Eternity". Stamped 'fish roe' pattern grounds and detail. Interior surface stained. Exterior scratched. height 7.8 centimeters and max diameter 26 centimeters.
