Kachin-mana maiden katsina (kachina); carved and painted wooden pillar figure with half mask and feather beard; rectangular black eyes, band of red hair at brow, hair clubbed at rear, feather at top of head; wears a woman's shawl and three bands of turquoise at throat. Emerging from shawl in front are digging stick, a bent board and a leafy plant. G. Lomayesva, carver.
