The bola was made for Jack Edward Walters, then Pres. of Alfred University, located in western N.Y. State. Brinton Stone once worked (ca. 1945-48) as ass't. to Mr. Walters. Mr. Stone aquired it from Mrs. Walters in Aug. of 1979.
