tea caddy (a), porcelain; w/ lid (b), and stopper (c), pewter. small ovoid shaped (side) jar w/ recessed foor, covered w/ a grey-green crackled celadon glaze. short cylindrical neck and mouth of pewter attached. glaze is opaque; interior white. crackles stained dark and are of the 'earth worm' type. (b) lid is short pewter cylinder w/ flat top. stopper (c) also a short cylinder w/ knob, and fits into mouth of jar. jar contains small amount of tea. H. (a) 8.5cm max.D. 8 cm. H. (b) 1.8cm D. 3.6cm.
