Description:
The front features a brown and red decal of Wang Jie holding an open book and a pen gazing afar. In front of him is a table with his backpack and some of Mao’s writings. A red poster is inscribed: “Learn from Comrade Lei Feng” (向雷鋒同志學習 xiang Lei Feng tongzhi xuexi), with Mao’s signature; the reverse side is printed with the slogan given below. Inscription: “Enthusiastically disseminate the Highest Directives” (熱情宣傳最高指示 reqing xuanchuan zuigao zhishi). Kiln mark on foot combines English and Chinese: “CHINA Jingdezhen, China” (CHINA 中国景德鎮 Zhongguo Jingdezhen)
