Smoking pipe. Dark wood, 1 piece, handcarved. Straight stem with metal band approximately 19 centimeters from mouthpiece. Bowl projecting from stem at 45 degree angle, with incised geometric design. Elongated base extending from bottom of bowl to rounded rest. Length 45.2 centimeters, diameter of bowl rim 5.1 centimeters. From Central Africa, Zaire, Kuba (Murdock 38:21).
