'mola'; basic motif af angular paired volutes arranged in an all-over regular pattern which is divided vertically by narrow strips of red ground; 16 units, 4 across by 4 down. one volute has a single strip of fill. 4 layers: red ground, black 2nd layer, multicolored 3rd, red top. faded and worn. machine stitched along top and side selvages, rest is hand stitched. 52 x 38.5 cm.
