Description:
Enamel mug with lid. The yellow ground is stenciled with an image of a large red flower surrounded by green leaves. On the right there is a radiating red torch on the background and a book on the forefront marked “Culture (文化wenhua). Cobalt blue bowstring decorates the rim. The handle and finial is partially decorated in the same color. Pink pigment is sprayed onto the edge of the lid. The mug may have been made during the One-hundred Flowers Bloom Campaign (百花齊放運動Baihua qifang yundong). 70 RMB
