Small bundle of tule. Two are placed butt to butt with tule between and wedged in tightly to hold and looks like a moustache which may be turned up or down.

Context of use:
Worn in nose of woman. Originally two types - disc beads strung on a small tough stick and used as straight skewer. Also, dentalia from north or northwest. Both types used in nose. Agent forbid the wearing of these and so later they used small tule bundles which authorities will notice. See Field Notes for 2059.
