Gown, open down front and slits at side seams w/frog closures; embroidered w/metallic thread in a floral design of silver flowers w/ floats outlined in pink on gold ground; gold and pink silk braid trim at neck, hem, sleeve, and front opening edges. Metallic thread; silk braid; cotton lining. Iran attributed. Given to donor by an aquaintance w/ the statement that it was once owned by Reza Pahlavi, the Shah of Iran. Lg. 45 cm.
