Rice bowl. On the front a decal of a book, on the back a red book, one inscribed “Read Chairman Mao’s books, listen to Chairman Mao’s words” (读毛主席的书 听毛主席的话 du Mao zhuxi de shu, ting Mao zhuxi de hua); the other side is inscribed “In work, follow Chairman Mao’s directives” (照毛主席的指示办事zhao Mao zhuxi de zhishi banshi), above each quotation is a radiating burning torch; double blue bowstring around rim and blue bowstring around foot.
