Poncho remnant; wool; white ground with indigo bands; terraced indigo diamonds broken by narrow yellow and dark pink bands; fragment of yellow-green cotton cloth at head opening; poor condition; selvage gone. 1-ply wool yarn, cotton cloth; tapestry weave; both Z and S-twist raveled yarns; raveled pink and red are dyed with cochineal (see Joe Ben Wheat letter in accession envelope).
