Description:
ceramic ginger jar (a) with cap-shaped lid (b). both jar and lid are glazed with dark brown matte underglaze. jar has 4 roundels around the sides; 2 are cream with green floral design, 2 are very dark brown and undecorated. lid is brown around the side and cream with green and pale orange floral design on top. all unglazed clay surfaces are painted with white slip.
