Pin. Conical-shaped head; three strictures on shank; tapers to a point, tip now lost. Very encrusted patina may hide further incised decoration. L. 12.2 cm. Although pins of this type are known from Nuzi, Talish and Sialk, the majority are reported from Luristan. Uncontrolled excavations southwest of the Caspian indicate there may also have been workshops for pins in this area.
