WOODEN FIGURE OF THE VIRGIN MARY: Carved and painted, tall, thin, wooden figure, cloaked in a pink mantel which covers her head as well, and is decorated with yellow flowers and green leaves and tendrils, edged with yellow. The back of the mantel is black. Beneath the mantel she wears a purple gown. On her head she wears a crown of purple and orange, topped by a yellow cross. In her hands she holds a pink flower with a green stem. The figure stands on a square base carved and painted to resemble a stack of 5 blocks, alternately painted navy blue and orange.
