- This stick was used as a sort of walking stick by a man who had drunk jimson root as a medicine. Within an hour after drinking half a gallon or so of this decoction a man becomes totally unconscious. He remains in this stupor for from 12 to 24 hours

- (cont''d from Use Context) ...sickness, death, etc. This is said to have been used by doctors frequently and after drinking they announce the names of those who they see in their visions who are about to become ill or about to die and of course doctor them and effect their cure. Same as 1-10753 Native name: "wuseta".
