- long style, blue silk with overall pattern in gold and silver wrapped thread couching, multi color embroidery of human figures, domestic scenes and landscapes; cloud collar, bindings, wide embroidered sleeve bands, brass buttons and aqua figured silk lining. 105.7 cml circa 1850 and may have matched the bindings. Both these have had re-embroidered areas where the black or beige thread dyes with dyes containing tannic acid has disintegrated Filde Mary Hays, May 1988
