roof ornament fragment, ceramic; small, upturned head of lion dog, fangs projecting from closed mouth, bulging eyes w/ large eyebrows, swirled incised lines for hair. 2 large holes on top of head.to hollow interior. rough broken edge below head & incl. only part of back. glossy, crackled royal-blue glaze on exterior and interior, on buff thick walled body. right brow, upper lip, and surface near broken edge chipped. H. 10 cm., L. 15 cm., W. 9.5 cm.
