Description:
Vase, cloisonne on porcelain. Tall cylinder shape, exterior covered entirely by enamel and cloisons. Wide band in middle with three panels (in shape of fan, heart and rectangle) on ground of very dark, dull blue. Panels filled with dull emerald green enamel with floral designs in blue, pink, red, yellow, and white. Borders are outlined with red circles. Band above and below middle in same green. Small flowers and geometric designs interspersed throughout. Surface crowded with small heart-shaped cloisons. Brown paint on rim, rubbing off. Base and interior have creamy white, finely crackled glaze. Enamel chipped in many spots. Identical to 9-12609. Height 31 cm; Diameter 12.8 cm. Probably made for export.
