Jacket (Haori): black silk plainweave w/ 5 Mon (crests); back lining panel plain & twill woven w/ scenes of famous Japanese mountains in blue, gold & greens; fully lined, excellent condition. Plainwoven silk "brocaded" panel. Woven patterning of lining shows four famous sites in Japan: Mt. Fuji, Amahashidate, possibly Matsushima (fishing area) and mountain. 1930's - 1950's. 104.1 cm L.
