- Tea kettle. “Canton enamel” in famille-rose colors. Copied from English silver of the mid-18th century. Has swing handle covered in plaited cane; painted scene with seven figures in landscape--two musicians and listener, two “go” players and servants. Yellow diaper border with floral and blue scroll reserves. Pink on base and spout. (b) Lid, feathered handle, tips broken. See 9-214 (a-c) for alcohol burner and stand.
