Shield; metal; rectangular with flared ends; handle formed of branch tied by wire to back; hide strip attached to center of handle; length: 90.5 cm; width: 33 cm. Used by men in combat to protect body. Traditionally this shield is of hide, but most have been taken from the Karamojong in cattle raids.
