A) Woman's ceremonial helmet; leather helmet trimmed with metal beads; 3 leather "ears" on top; front flap of leather trimmed with metal tubes; pendant flap of hide in back; 158 cm. B) Necklace or headpiece of metal beads and leather; center piece of leather trimmed with metal beads; 25 cm long (doubled). An heirloom which had belonged to a Mbanderu woman living in Bechuanaland. Its original provenience is Damarland, S.W. Africa.
