Context of use: Used by women for winnowing maize- first ground in mortar. This basket was made by a specialist in 1972 in Mangai (another village). Description: Flat, circular; twill plating, strip of (?) along inner and outer rim. Natural color; small repaired section near bottom edge. 39 cm. in diameter.
