Bodywarmer; brass, nickel plated; a - pot with handle; b - threaded cap; c - stopper with remnants of cork; filled with hot water in winter. Usually covered with linen or wool bags as insulation. Conflicting opinions on this. Some swear never having seen such an object, but Hong Kong curator says this is indicative of their youth. Hand/body warmers of this type have been out of use for over 30 years. From Mainland (probably Northern) China.
