Epaulets, (a, b) pair heavily gold encrusted. red leather/metal undershank (metal engraved “Horsemann Brothers & Allien New York” also “right” and “left”). Gold-plated (?) hollow- crescent shaped rim with double fall of gold coiled spirals. top has US eagle crest button and “M.S.” (in silver) in chaplet of oak leaves. 19.5 by 14 by 11 cm. c) Box (for a, b) black painted metal. 8-shape, internal container, top handle. 27 by 18.5 by 13 cm.
