Karchesion with 8-1646. Description from Matteucig (1951): Kantharos; height: 9 cm; height to top of handles: 12.8 cm; diameter: 11.5 cm (see Matteucig's plate VII, 7). Brown impasto. Clay pale red; polished reddish-brown surface. Shape like that of no. 8-1539. On the shoulder, between handles, three groups of three vertical grooves; be tween each group dioxide remains of lead vertical laminae. One of the handles is partly restored.
