Mask, miniature; anthropomorphic, incised linear decoration on forehead, triangle on each cheek; dark-stained wood. Height 6.5 cm. “Miniature replicas of these masks were carried by men so that they could benefit fro the power of their family mask; these maskettes had power of their own and the sections of kola nuts in divination were touched to them before being cast on the ground.”
