Description:
The slender straight-sided mug has an angular handle. The front pictures four soldiers (rubber stamped on) climbing a hand-painted turquoise mountain toward a red flag. In the distance is a section of the Great Wall and a high peak. Inscription: The back is inscribed in full-form characters: “Protect home and country” (保家衛國baojia weiguo). Foot: red seal in square standing on a corner: “Produced by ceramic cooperative of Yuanlin, Jiangxi” (江西袁林瓷社出品 Jiangxi Yuanlin ci she chupin)
