Sari: Very rich silk sari in gold with blue and red; elephant motifs plus small birds; wide band of lush gold floral designs and elephants on red on the end panel; fringe is in fine macrame; selvages have wide band of gold. Principle design is of elephants in squares with gold birds at each corner in yellow or red on a blue ground; squares are formed by vertical and horizontal bands of gold. 121cm w. x 503 cm.l.
