Iron neck ornaments (maduza da'a'); semi-lunate shape; loop at one end for suspension; engraved designs on concave face; folded over on long axis; 6.5-15.5 cm long. Made by Mafa smiths; worn for ornament by women on festival and market days; some hang on iron chain on back of neck; sometimes includes medicinal substances.
