Conical, openwork, plain twined and twill twined. Not quite finished, lacks trimming of ends and addition of rim stick. No design. Warp ends plaited over one another to form 6 cm. wide selvage.

An important acquisition. Few openwork baskets of this kind were collected in the old days because of their plainess. It is also interesting for its detailed resemblance to burden baskets of the ancient Lovelock tradition of Nevada.
