Sowi-ing deer katsina (kachina); carved and painted wooden figure, with turquoise case mask with deer snout, rectangular black eyes, blossom ears with feathers, on headdress with feathers and deer horns above a visor of yellow, red, and turquoise, feather pompom on back and carved evergreen ruff at neck. Body decorated with wavy white lines. Wears turquoise armlets with rainbow symbols, bracelet and wrist band with tassel, kilt with carved fox skin tail at back, knee bands with bells, fringed moccasins and a turquoise necklace.
