Painting on cloth, an astrological calendar divided into squares for 28 days (but should be 35; abbreviated by one week), register of divinities above, and of day-animals below. 44 x 82 cm. Made for sale, but based upon calendars formerly used for establishing the horoscopes of children and for determining auspicious days for various ventures. This one shows its made-for-sale character in that it is not only reduced in size but is short one register of seven days. To make it right the artist omitted some day signs and inserted others out of sequence.
