Description:
pleated skirt rolled up and tied by waist strings; only partially untied for viewing. skirt with 6 pieces blue plain weave cloth (2 string ties at waist, waistband, 3 horizontal panels) and additional pieces decorative cloth, sewn together. ties, waistband, upper panel medium blue, panel with pleats sewn in place. middle panel dark blue with pleats (smaller) stabilized with thread, and horizontal white pattern of lines and dots. bottom panel dark blue with upper and lower band cross-stitch embroidery and appliqué, central band of sewn-on cloth with white and yellow pattern and red appliquéd cloth, and band of black cloth sewn to bottom edge. vertical dimension approx. 66 cm; horizontal dimension not measured.
