Cap (kapa), blue cloth over frame, gold coins decorate front, metal filigree with six glass stones decorates top. Strap of plaid cloth. Lining and strap plaid cotton. Diameter- 10cm. Worn by women on all occasions. Always worn beneath Moslem style of scarf, still worn by about half or more of the women, especially the older one. Coins may be real Turkish gold, or imitations such as these Made by women for selves.
