a) Pipe wood and steatite. 2 pieces are glued together, with glue on surface. Some burnt tobacco still in bow. b) Case, cylinder with 2 pieces sewn together. Top piece is leather and bottom piece still has fur on it; fur strips for decoration; red feather decorations hang from bottom.
