tie dye fabric. 2 panels of tie dyed (indigo and white) commercial fabric sewn loosely together with raffia thread. each panel divided by white tie dye bands, into rows of 2 large blocks with center medallions surrounded by "asterisks" randomly placed throughout the block. 17-18 cm solid band at each end, tied with raffia, fragments still adhering. Conservation: water stains, dirty spot.
