- China. Plate, porcelain. Wide, somewhat curved up sides, depression in center bottom. Dark underglaze blue decoration: small medallion center of perals or Jui scepters radiating like flowers. Same design in scrollwork band with eight characters: "good luck" around bottom near side. On side near rim: eight Buddhist emblems in band in iron red. Two light blue lines near edge. Underside has three floral designs in overglaze enamels of red, white, green and yellow, depicting peach, pomegranate, and finger citron. Faint lines in underglaze blue. Recessed foot. Top surface very scratched. Small character cut into surface. Diameter 27 centimeters, height 3.8 centimeters.
